Testimonials

"My husband is in the Army and we don't live near our families. We knew that I would need extra support during the labor and delivery process. We were blessed to meet Danielle by chance after our originally assigned doula didn't work out. We can't even begin to describe how glad we are that this happened. Danielle has an uncanny ability to be an extremely calm yet powerfully strong presence during what is easily the most stressful days of a woman's life. Danielle came to our home multiple times prior to labor in order to understand my birth wishes and to help us to learn about the labor and pre-labor process. She showed so much patience as my husband and I asked question after question. I was admitted into the hospital at 39 weeks. I called Danielle at 6am with the news and she was immediately en route to the hospital. She was aware of my severe anxiety and inability to comprehend the constant rambling of the hospital staff. As a result, Danielle listened closely to everything that was said in the room and calmly explained everything to me in plain, simple english. She has this magical tone of voice that tells you what is urgent without speaking above a whisper. Danielle helped me to survive a 3 day labor, ensured that I understood all of my options, comforted me through the pain and helped me with effective pain management techniques and even intervened when my family came into town and became too overwhelming for my husband and I to manage.  Danielle's services are top notch and we hope to be able to use her for our next baby. She's patient, thorough, kind and skilled in ways that cant be put into words."

If you are searching for a doula on this site and you come across Danielle...contact her immediately! I am sure as heck glad I did. My husband and I were first time parents and excited but nervous about the pregnancy and labor/delivery. This is what lead us to Danielle and as soon as I met her in my 2nd trimester, I knew I wanted her as my doula. I was amazed at the knowledge she had about everything and anything pregnancy related. During my pregnancy she was always only a text away and helped me with all the changes and challenges I was going through. She answered all our questions thoroughly and always made us feel comfortable. She calmed the fears I had about labor which resulted in both my husband and I being calm and collected when the big day finally arrived. Choosing Danielle as our doula was one of the best decisions we made and at the time I didn't know how important her support and guidance would be to us. Looking back I can honestly say had it not been for Danielle, my labor and delivery would have been MUCH different, and not in a good way! My husband is also a fan of Danielle and is so thankful for the support she provided him during my labor. A doula is not just for the woman but can also be beneficial for the partner by calming nerves, providing support and assisting with little things here and there one doesn't think about but it all results in such a better experience overall – all of which Danielle did for us. I was initially worried about having a stranger be a part of something so intimate in my life. Danielle’s personality and kind demeanor made it so easy for me to feel comfortable with her. Not only is she an expert but she is also super friendly and just an overall good human being!

We hired Danielle to be our birth doula for our first baby and ended up loving her so much that we hired her for postpartum help as soon we got back home and realized we were in over our heads. My wife said she felt connected to her immediately and even though I was on the fence with hiring a doula at all, Danielle made it easy for me to understand what was going on and what I could do to help--which was great because it's really easy to feel useless when your wife is the one going through everything. That alone was worth every penny. Danielle was super knowledgable and helped us overcome fears and some complications that popped up unexpectedly. She didn't leave our side once during labor, because we needed her and she did some crazy tricks with birth balls that ended up letting my wife avoid the "c-section" the docs kept whispering about. For postpartum she was literally our lifesaver. I can't even express how inadequate and terrified we felt until she showed up. I don't think we would have had as positive of a birth experience if we didn't have her as our doula. There's just something different about having a doula's help, even with family around, that makes you feel supported. Would hire again in a heartbeat if we ever have another kiddo.

Danielle is not only an amazing doula but also a wonderful person. As a first time mother, I was so scared about all that comes with the pregnancy, labor and delivery process. Danielle calmed my fears and made the process SO much easier. The amount of knowledge this woman has is insane! A total expert. She was always only a text away and answered all my questions with care and patience. I will always recommend her to anyone looking for a doula in the area. My LO is now 5 weeks and looking back at the labor and delivery I truly feel it went as smoothly as it did because of her!

Danielle is such a sweetheart and so knowledgeable.  She was there for me in every moment.  Her care and concern for my entire family and not just myself and the baby was awe-inspiring.  Her focus and support during the entire pregnancy is so comforting and she is ready to advocate for whatever mommy, daddy, or baby may need.  When she says she will research something and get back to you, she stays true to her word.  Her amazing work ethic is one not easily found amongst today's professionals.  She truly is one of a kind and I am looking forward to the chance of being able to have her walk this journey with me again.
